Our story

Program "Rising cinema: a new generation of European cinema ambassadors" is intended for young people aged 15-25 who, during theoretical and practical sessions, get to know European cinema more closely, learn to watch and appreciate it. During the implementation of the 6-month educational program for young programmers, theoretical and practical workshops, young people together with film professionals will learn about such topics as film language, film genres, directing, composition, the work of a film programmer, the principles of podcast creation, the development of audiences, etc. . During the entire program, students will create their own podcast, in which they will talk about the films they watched, interview people from the world of cinema, and discuss other current issues in cinema. Also, throughout the program, students will write articles about the films they have seen and workshops they had. The young film programmers will create a cycle of three films, search for the films they want to show, communicate with film distributors, prepare the film's description and communication. A similar program is implemented in three cities: Kaunas (Lithuania), Porto (Portugal), Tavira (Portugal).
